The local fishing boats were busy today offloading a huge load of fish onto the state pier. Pumping fish into containers on an 18-wheel truck. The boat offloading the fish was so low in the water that the ocean was almost flooding it's decks.. Nearby a fishing boat that is so rusty we affectionately call it tetanus was backed stern to the pier and was rolling a new net onto the boat.
Helpful tip! If you find yourself driving out of Newport following an 18-wheeler with blue containers on it pull over to the side of the road and let it increase the distance in front of you. Fish juice is not something you want to be cleaning off of your car LOL.
